Jesus Loves You Outreach

 Good day Church family!!

With the help of all of you, we provided the women and children at Safe Haven of Greater Waterbury with a Valentine's Day meal, gift baskets and flowers.

Safe Haven is an organization that provides safe housing for women and children of domestic violence seeking refuge. They offer assistance and resources so these women are able to become established with stable housing as well as legal help to keep themselves and their children safe.

Safe Haven has a wonderful staff that truly desires to see these women restored to safety and stability. We at Canvas Church have been blessed to come along side them every year at Valentine's Day, this being our 10th year.going on 10 years now , to share the love of Jesus with them through a meal, gifts and personal prayers and scripture written by the women of our church. We desire to see their hearts and souls restored safely and securely in Jesus, and safe haven graciously allows us access every year to openly declare Jesus in our gifts and bless them! We don’t get to meet the women, we know nothing about them but that they’re in crisis, and they desperately need the firm foundation and love of Jesus Christ!
