Missionary Update: Marger Geraldo

Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey with me as I’ve become a full-time missionary, the Lord is kind and good. Thank you to those who have also partnered with me financially and stood with me in prayer!

I’m a missionary with YWAM Circuit Riders, my role with the Circuit Riders is that I am a house leader.

Position Summary:

House Leaders serve as the frontline leaders, coaches, and community builders for students

living in CRX housing. They carry the daily spiritual, relational, and leadership health of their assigned house, while also assisting in the overall CRX training culture.

House Leaders are a key discipleship voice for 19 students and function under the leadership of the Executive Team. They are not expected to function as senior-level pastors, but they are also far more than babysitters. They are missionary coaches who carry the momentum of the school forward through their hunger, presence, and active engagement with students.

This was at Rookie Year, which is for all first-year staff. We gathered at

Pirate’s Cove to get to know one another, encourage each other, and pray.

We got to see someone healed of knee pain; it was amazing! He hadn’t been

able to move his knee without pain for a couple of years, and then he

started hopping around completely pain-free!

There was also a couple who noticed us gathered together. They realized we

were Christians and shared that they were believing for their son to

encounter the Gospel and be freed from addiction. Their son is homeless in

LA and struggling with addiction, and they’re praying for him to come home

and be transformed by the Gospel of Christ. We began praying and weeping

with them, believing their son will return like the prodigal son.

We don’t have any updates yet, but if you could, please keep this family in your prayers.

It’s been so incredible, and it’s only the first week! I have students from Canada, the

U.S., Switzerland, Cyprus/Russia, and the U.K. —and it’s so amazing! These students

are so hungry for the Gospel and for Jesus. I’ve seen them start praying over each other and worshiping without even being told to.

In this first week, I got to share my testimony, and it really impacted one of my students, she felt safe to open up and share hers as well. I got to have a special moment with her and pray for her.

This week, they were learning about the culture of an unoffendable heart, and they

surrendered so much to Jesus. I had the opportunity to pray over a girl in my house, and it was such a powerful moment. I felt the fire of God speaking through every word I said, it was beautiful. I also got to be paired with my student during evangelism training, and she felt encouraged to share her testimony.

ree

I am so grateful to be a part of this and to witness their breakthroughs. I already

love this so much. God is so good and faithful, and I can’t wait to see what the Lord does next!

I also got to go back home for a weekend because of my church, and I had the opportunity to sing at a Latin Festival and proclaim who the Lord is. It was an amazing time the Lord truly

moved there. It was so special singing in Coe Park because we’ve prayed for that land so much, and it felt like it had been prepared. I know in my heart that one day Coe Park will be a place where many will gather from every nation to hear the Gospel and even the parking lot of the Torrington Plaza will be overflowing.

Prayer Requests for the Students and Circuit Riders:

  • Pray that they feel safe to open up and seek God.

  • Pray that the love of God encounters them and that they experience personal breakthrough.

  • Pray that during classes and lectures, they’re able to process everything they

    learn.

  • Pray that they find freedom and let go of past injustices. (Freedom Week is in

    two weeks!)

  • Pray that God continues moving powerfully in Southern California—there is so much

    hunger and desperation here.

  • Pray that Circuit Riders can find and partner with young evangelists who want to see a move of God on their campuses. Circuit Riders already plans to visit 450

    schools and campuses!

  • Pray that as Circuit Riders expand into new regions in Europe, God provides the right

connections to plan tours. It’s been quiet so far, so please pray that there are young evangelists there who are hungry to see a move of God in their nation.

  • Pray that the Lord brings more students for the January and April schools

Pray for me:

  • Pray that I receive deeply from the secret place and carry fresh bread (fresh

    revelation).

  • Pray that I walk in full obedience to God in everything.
